Third and Fourth Grade Art

Story image 1_0

At this age, art class can start to lose a bit of its attraction as the student really wants to put amazing things on the page, but they can’t always figure out how to make that happen.  Often this age becomes self-critical and begins to shut down the artistic side.  Sticking their picture on mom and dad’s fridge doesn’t always cut the mustard anymore.  This project was given to them in hopes of showing them that they have skill and if they simply follow directions and pay attention to detail, they can make incredible things happen!  They did an awesome job with color and line.  These pieces were created with a popsicle stick and a lot of tedious and attentive coloring!
