Mr. Cochran was very well known for building up our instrumental program and having tremendous community support at the winter and spring concerts. Thank you Mr. Cochran for your years of dedication to our students at Sheldon!! Paul and Phyllis Sprenkle have been a part of the Sheldon School District for over three decades. Phyllis retired as Superintendent in 2008 after working her entire educational career in the district. She began her career as the Home Economics teacher and moved up to Principal and then Superintendent. During her tenure in the District she was awarded numerous grants, passed bond issues to make building improvements to the school, and constantly worked to see that the district maintained a high level of performance. Paul worked as an Art/Spanish teacher for many years. Paul was instrumental in creating the infrastructure for our technology putting Sheldon on the cutting edge of technology from the beginning of the technology era. After their retirement, they both remain actively involved in the community and school. Paul currently serves as Treasurer of the Sheldon School Board of Education and Phyllis remains active by helping the school write grants to enhance programs at the school. They have both made vast contributions to the school and they will forever be remembered as prominent figures in our school and community.
