person, i.e. for a survey.  SRB forms are required for projects involving vertebrates, pathogens, etc.  These projects need pre-approval by the January 15th deadline.  If you need more information, the MSRSF web site is www.msrsf.org. All experiments are at the cost of parent/guardian,  please approve your child’s project asap. Parents are asked to allow students to assume as much responsibility for the project as possible. Please, provide support, offer advice when necessary, help with expenses for the project, and provide any needed transportation.  Please supervise the investigation making certain that animals are treated humanely and the investigation is safe.  In addition, you should occasionally check on the progress of the project to insure that it is progressing as scheduled.  Finally, when your child writes the abstract to accompany the project, you may offer to proofread the written abstract or make suggestions for improvement. The packet was handed to students on November 9, 2015 with forms and deadlines included. Some students have already started! They are very excited and so am I!!!!
